Book I am reading - Live in a Better Way
I have just started reading this wonderful book, Live in a Better Way, compiled and edited by Renuka Singh.
While it's just the introduction that I read, I must say, she was so wonderfully summarized the Buddhist teaching, page xxv for the introduction chapter just captures the gist in hardly a few lines.
I got this book at my local library however you can search it in amazon or just google it.
I shall be writing more about it as I read.
Happy reading.
Introduction
As the name of the blog implies, here I would like to right a little about books that I read, just so it might help me looking back and find fellow readers and their views

Happy for no Reason
Today I would like to write a little review about Happy for no Reason book by Marci Shimoff.
I actually received this book as my birthday present in the December of 2009 however didnt read it until April last year. You might wonder why, as most of us think, I thought I was really very happy anyway, but then life comes at you fast. I was so wrong, this book helped me face myself in much stronger ways. some of the things that I remember still, one place where Marci talks about Forgiveness, I absolutely love that chapter, it helped me see through the glass what I had been doing in my own situation and helped me forgive those, I thought only they had hurted me, but in effect, the hurt came from as my own minds creation of the suffering.
I got this as a gift from my one of the best friends, you can search it in amazon or you can google it. Oh and I must say, I felt so much more lighter in heart after reading this book, particularly for the life situation I was then in.
Happy reading.

Prenatal Parenting
Thinking of pregnancy one the best books that cross my mind is Prenatal Parenting. It is surely not of the those book you see or hear about from most expectant moms but then I had the pleasure of getting this book from one of my best friend. You can find it on amazon or Google it.
If you are expecting or even just trying to be this is a very good book to get started on, I particularly liked the way Dr Frederick Wirth talks about effect of our own thoughts on the baby and how we can get better results when baby is still inside, I think we are yet to understand the complexities of how wonderfully interwoven the baby and mom bond is, its a treasure that a mom has in controlling her emotions and to give the best to the baby inside. Dr Frederick very clearly explains how one can tackle the emotions in a better way and start communicating with the baby while baby is still inside and developing. My own experiences testifies what's on the book. In fact I even started regular yoga breathing and pranayam after getting motivated reading this book.
Happy Reading

You and Your Baby
Expecting? Hmm even if you are trying, in my experience I liked reading this book, you can search it on amazon or Google it.
Particularly, I liked nice pictures, week by week details of whats going around, for some reason I always liked to read books with nice pictures especially when I was expecting it was very calming.
Dr Laura Riley in this book "You and Your baby" Pregnancy your ultimate week-by-week guide nicely presents what to expect and also question to ask for your next OB/GYN visit.
To all expected moms happy reading and congratulations.
